Congratulations are in order for our colleague Matthias Bayerbach who successfully defended his PhD Thesis on February 25, 2026.
In his work titled "Boosted Bell-state measurements and their applications", he explored experimental techniques of improving the limited efficiency of linear-optical Bell-state measurements. Building on these results, he demonstrated the advantages of these boosted Bell-state measurements in common applications of photonic quantum technologies.
We congratulate Matthias for this achievement and look forward to his future contributions to the research in our group.
