Open positions

Join our team

We have open positions and are currently hiring PhD students and postdocs with a background in physics, engineering, computer science, or related, to perform research on photonic quantum information processing.

We also have projects available for Bachelors and Master students from both physics and engineering.

See details below.

+-
We are inviting PhD candidates and postdocs to apply for open positions in the following topics
  • Position 1 (PhD/Postdoc):
Integrated quantum information processing (QIP) at telecoms wavelength

  • Position 2 (PhD/Postdoc):
    Integrated photon detection

  • Position 3 (PhD):
Integrated photon sources for on-chip QIP
You are interested in:
  • Integrated quantum optics and quantum information processing
  • International collaborations
  • Interdisciplinary research at the intersection of physics, engineering, computer science, mathematics
We are looking for:
  • Excellent PhD students and postdocs with a background in physics, photonic engineering, or related
  • Experience in experimental (quantum) optics and quantum information processing
  • Programming skills (Matlab, Mathematica, …)
  • MSc (or equivalent) in physics, engineering, or related

PhD/Postdoc positions (poster)

We are inviting students to apply for Master’s projects
You are interested in:
  • Integrated quantum optics
  • Single-photon sources and detection
  • Quantum information processing
  • Quantum algorithms, quantum computing, quantum networks
  • International collaborations
  • Interdisciplinary research at the intersection of physics, engineering, computer science, mathematics
We are looking for:
  • Excellent students with a background in physics, photonic engineering, or related
  • Ideally experience in experimental (quantum) optics and quantum information processing
  • Programming skills (Matlab, Mathematica, …)
