During his visit to our institute, Dr. Martin Švec gave a talk on his research “Accessing the photophysics of single chromophores and clusters”. We learned about his work on exciton lifetimes of single molecules in nanocavity gaps, photocurrent measurements of open-shell systems, and spatially-resolved maps of photon emission from aggregates. Furthermore, we enjoyed sharing knowledge on light-coupled STM experiments and the rich discussions on exciting physics.
