Günther H. Oettinger and Major Frank Nopper paid a visit to the ZAQ, to take a look at the labs and learn about the happenings in the newest scientific endeavors and innovative developments taking place at our scientific center. Thereby they made a stop at one of the FMQ labs, hosting the newest STM/AFM of the Loth group. As a demonstration, our guests had the opportunity to take an atomic scale scan of silicon.
