The research activities of Prof. Dr. Sebastian Loth's group in Hamburg are presented in the corridor of the FMQ. The pictures show details of a "Quantum Microscope" and a uniquely designed "Scanning Tunneling Microscope". We get to know two PhD students "Entering the world of electrons", three iron atoms as an "Atomic spin sensor" and one sharp needle of the scanning tunneling microscope acting in "Atom manipulation".
